For more than 2,200 small businesses, customization and available templates are the top deciding factors when they choose their website provider.
This report from Webs, the digital services division of Vistaprint, is one of the reasons it released more than 450 new website design themes for its do-it-yourself (DIY) website builder tool. The new templates include designs tailored to 20 different industries: animals and pet care; automotive and transportation; business services; education and childcare; food and beverage; information and technology; manufacturing; real estate; travel and accommodation; agriculture and farming; art and entertainment; beauty and spa; and more.
The new mobile-optimized themes let small business owners personalize the layout, fonts, graphics, backgrounds and other features to customize their sites. Working with its parent company, Vistaprint, customers will also have access to theme-matching physical marketing materials like business cards, fliers, apparel and signs to provide a cohesive brand look - both online and off.
"We sought our customers' feedback on what they need to build and manage their online presence and found additional themes to be the most-requested item," said Scott Bowen, general manager at Webs. "We answered this demand by creating multiple layouts for the different industries we serve. With the addition of more than 450 new themes and availability of matching physical marketing products, we offer small business owners an opportunity to create a professional brand presence with affordable, easy-to-use tools."
