For many, it's not just about having and using the right image - it's about having enough. The Web is a very visual place obviously, but image services can be costly to use and incredibly time consuming. What's a Web professional to do?
PicFeed recently released its new API as a service which offers developers a stream of ready-to-use pictures. Developers need only to specify a few parameters, call the API, and PicFeed does the rest, automagically returning image content to the website or application. Users of the PicFeed API are able to specify the image size and resolution, as well as specific aspects of the image content such as location or subject.
The PicFeed API service, launched in the spring of 2014, is free to use; pro/paid features will be added in the future according to the company.
