Facebook Jobs Up, Twitter Jobs Down

Freelancer.com, the world's largest outsourcing and crowdsourcing marketplace, announced the fastest growing Internet jobs between April 1 and June 30, 2012. Its analysts assessed 300,000-plus jobs completed last quarter and among the findings were that Facebook marketing jobs dominated with a 16 percent increase, while Twitter slumped under 2 percent.

 

Other highlights of the report include:

 

- The 3D Printing industry heats up, with 3D rendering, modeling and animation jobs all showing double-digit growth.

 

- Android app jobs continue to surge ahead, growing 14.4 percent, leaving Apple iPhone and iPad jobs in the dust with their 10.2 percent and -2.5 percent growth.

 

- Telemarketing and Email Marketing jobs are hotter than ever, while SEO and Link Building jobs sag.

 

- Small business demand for Accounting, Report Writing, and PowerPoint experts soars.
