It seems that with each passing day, there isn't anything that can't be done without leaving Facebook.
Whether it is to read articles in full or collaborate with coworkers, it's becoming apparent that Facebook doesn't want users to leave its digital property - and now a partnership between the social media network and BigCommerce, an ecommerce platform, is making it so shopping can be done in a more streamlined fashion there too.
This partnership enables merchants to create a custom Facebook Shop on their company's Page to display and promote curated product collections, allowing shoppers to discover new products, subscribe to updates when new items are added and purchase them through the business' online store.
BigCommerce customers can start showcasing and selling their products through the Shop section on Pages by activating the channel in the control panel; all merchants selling to U.S. shoppers will have the option to sell on Facebook Pages this week according to the company.
