Vine has introduced a new "Watch" button that enables users to see the story of a channel with Vines playing back to back.
According to the video sharing app, people love to go through a channel, or watch an account, from start to finish. The Watch button enables them to do just that, which means they no longer have to manually scroll through individual posts.
Users simply need to tap "posts" on a channel to choose how they want to view Vines, either by oldest to newest, newest to oldest or by what's popular. Vine notes that it recently introduced the watching options and recommends using this feature with its new viewing experience. It is also important to note that users can make a Vine loop as they watch it by tapping and holding it.
Since the update streamlines the viewing experience, it may cause brands to see more engagement with the content on their channels. The update is currently available for both iOS and Android devices.
