Customer reviews can positively influence search engine optimization efforts, and are obviously a critical part of the marketing funnel, serving a vital role in driving customers toward conversion.
That's not gone unnoticed, of course, for providers of solutions that cater to local-focused enterprises.
SEO software Moz, for example, announced a partnership with consumer review platform Yelp that will enable marketers to claim and manage their Yelp listings from the Moz Local dashboard. Moz Local has existing partnerships with other big names in the local marketing space including Google, Bing, Apple, Nuestar (Localeze), Acxiom, Foursquare and others, so the inclusion of Yelp further extends its reach.
"We're excited to partner with Moz Local to help businesses claim and manage their presence on Yelp via Moz Local's platform," said Chad Richard, senior vice president of business and corporate development at Yelp.
"Moz's integration of our new claiming services API will deliver a one-stop listing management experience. Businesses will now be able to efficiently claim their Yelp listings, individually or as a group, while employing Moz Local's location data management solutions to optimize their pages on Yelp."
