Managing a company's locations is an important part of local SEO, and it's about to get a whole lot easier.
Yext has announced a roll out of a Google My Business API integration. More than 200 of its current customers (representing over 100,000 business locations) are now being managed via the API and appearing on Google Search, Maps and ads.
The API makes it possible for enterprises like Yext to allow their customers to create business locations with name, address, phone, category, business hours (and manage special hours), mark a location as closed, manage photos and more.
