Pictures are one of the most common elements on the Internet.
On Facebook alone, there is an average of 250 million photos uploaded every day.
Popular stock photo agency Getty Images has released their latest update for their iStock app as well as announced the date (July 17) updates will go live for their self-titled Getty Images app that will give both a face-lift.
Also, once updated, the app will allow users to embed and share images from its collection free of charge for non-commercial use on websites, blogs and other social channels. The updates to their Gett Images app, specifically the embed function, reflect the changes that the company made to their website just a couple months ago.
"The world's best creative minds rely on Getty Images for our unique, inspiring content and our refreshed apps make it easier to use than ever," said Matthew Bencke, senior vice president, product and customer experience at Getty Images.
At this time the updates are only for Getty Images iOS apps.
