Fresh out of beta, OpenOffice.org 3.0 is now available for Linux, Solaris, Windows and for the first time, native support for OS X. Included in the release is an easier interface that lets you choose which application to get started with and the ability to add MS Access databases to Writer. There are also enhanced viewing options - such as viewing mulltiple pages in the same view and easier zoom functions, better suited to today's larger and multiple-monitor work stations. A much-anticipated feature is the ability for multiple user to edit spreadsheets simultaneously.
