One of the big drawbacks of native mobile applications is that a vast majority of are opened just a few times on average, never to receive regular use, or worse - outright deletion shortly after download. One of the ways that app developers - and app marketers - can ensure regular use is to stay in front of their users, doing whatever it takes to engage them.
Moxtra this week launched a software development kit (SDK) designed to improve the way app makers communicate and collaborate with users. Developers deploying the SDK are able to integrate real-time interactive "conversation capabilities" into their apps with just a few lines of code.
The Moxtra SDK includes four modules: Moxtra Chat (provides access to rich messaging and collaboration for team or topic-based activities), Moxtra Meet (which lets users start a real-time meeting on their smartphone/tablet devices with screen sharing and audio conferencing), Moxtra Draw and Moxtra Clip. Moxtra Draw and Moxtra Clip allow users to annotate or record their voice over app screens or files stored in the app or the cloud.
"Users are looking for in-context communication + collaboration experiences to get things done effectively and efficiently," said Subrah Iyar, co-founder and CEO of Moxtra. "With the Moxtra SDK, we make it simple to deliver in-context experiences for our partners. We worked closely with over 20 early access partners over the past few quarters to make sure our SDK is easy to implement. I am excited to officially launch our SDK today and thankful for the support and enthusiasm of our early access partners."
