How much do you really know about how users experience your site?
Sure, you can tell quite a bit about how engaging your content is by using a traditional Web analytics solution (e.g. pageviews, time on site, bounce rate, etc.), but sometimes you need to see how an individual session transpired in order to find ways in which a user's journey can be optimized.
For this reason, session replay tools are useful - and there are plenty from which Web professionals can choose.
Many will be familiar with perennial leader ClickTale; the solution has had a long run as the leading solution for session replay, but it has slowly been unseated by a relative unknown - Mouseflow.
The website analytics tool has overtaken venture-backed ClickTale to capture the leading spot according to data from BuiltWith and Datanyze. Mouseflow has more than 45,000 clients currently including some very big brands such as Samsung, Pepsi, Microsoft, Bosch and others.
"It's an exciting time for all of us. We focus on converting new and existing customers to become loyal fans of our product. We are about to launch a new user interface that will raise the bar, expand our position, and bring about dozens of new opportunities," says Lasse Schou, CEO of Mouseflow.
