Online survey platform SurveyMonkey has launched an interesting new data offering that will enable enterprises to compare their performance (in terms of website feedback, customer satisfaction, employee engagement and customer loyalty) against their peers, competitors and companies of similar size.
SurveyMonkey's new Benchmarks solutions aggregates (and yes, anonymizes) data from its roughly 3 million daily survey responses to create indexes by industry, location and company size. The survey solution's clients can then access the benchmarks and compare (as well as download) their individual scores against their competition and in the process identify areas of potential improvement.
Pricing for the benchmark data, which is updated only quarterly, is based on the type of surveys created and how SurveyMonkey clients want to segment. It is a solution that could enable enterprises to make better decisions - decisions based on actual data - about what's working with customers and employees and what is not.
