Digital marketing software MomentFeed recently launched a new solution that will help brands publish content to their local Google+ Pages as well as aggregate customer reviews from resulting participation on the platform.
The introduction of the new feature makes MomentFeed - a platform that already unifies listings/profiles on Facebook, Foursquare, Instagram, Twitter and Yelp - one of the few (if not the only) opportunities available on the market today with this Google-friendly functionality, giving digital brands a substantial local search engine optimization (SEO) advantage relative to their competitors.
"Brands need to think of Google+ from an SEO perspective, but it can be difficult to scale to all your local stores when you have hundreds or thousands of locations," said Robert Blatt, CEO of MomentFeed. "National brands are in many cases behind their local competitors when it comes to discoverability. So how does a national pizza brand become the local pizza place? With Google+, it's really simple. Local links plus local content plus local engagement equals local pizza place."
With the launch of Google My Business in June, according to the company, MomentFeed was able to leverage its status as a whitelisted Google+ Pages API vendor to provide brands with multiple location access to their local Google+ Pages. MomentFeed is a genuine up-and-comer in the local space, earning a mention in Website Magazine's Top 50 Local Solutions That Matter, as well as a nod in our recent feature article on the "Pulse of 'Net Advertising."
