Krillion, a search engine for local shopping now works with Toshiba's laptop division. Customers can search for Toshiba laptops and find out prices and availability of online and offline merchants. The announcement comes just in time for school shopping and the upcoming holiday season.
When a customer clicks on a product, results populate with store names, contact information, pricing and availability. A map view is also available which shows locations of products on a map.
According to its website, those interested in partnering with Krillion can do so as a manufacturer, using a publisher widget, or custom integration. Krillion provides localized search for electronics, computers, lawn and garden, tools, and appliances. Consumers can search for product information in more than 40,000 U.S. locations.
