Web host NaviSite added new management and control features to its cloud hosting platform NaviCloud.
Features include Role Based Access Control (used to assign and match user access privileges to individual roles and responsibilities), Airlock (which allows developer to lock down IT environments and impoting virtual machines for test workloads) and Dynamic Resource Instrumention (for control and creation of rules and policies over computing resources).
The features are available through NaviSite's Web-based platform console dubbed Appcenter.
