Email marketing platform Emma has officially set its sights on a potentially lucrative market in ecommerce.
The company just announced integrations with several of the top ecommerce software providers including Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce and Volusion, and will now enable brands to sync their customer purchase and order data to create customer segments that will drive their email marketing initiatives.
"Today's marketers are often focused purely on opens and clicks. With the help of Emma and its strong integrations with leading ecommerce companies, brands can better see the impact of their marketing efforts-far beyond the clicks-and surface both purchase activity and ROI driven from email marketing efforts," said Cody Bender, VP of Product Marketing and Deliverability at Emma.
Emma customers will be able to trigger workflows based on purchase history field changes, view order data and order status from within the Emma platform, and deliver more personalized messages when they have the highest potential to convert customers (thanks in part to some pre-built retail segments) among other capabilities.
