The daily deal craze took the breath out of the once vibrant coupon and couponing trend - but it just might be coming back (and in a big way).
Shopzilla, best known for its work in the price comparison space, has launched a new coupon site dubbed Tada. The site already features 50,000 coupons from over 6,400 stores and has plans to expand into different geo-marketers soon. So what will make Tada a contender in this already crowded and competitive niche?
"The biggest source of frustration for consumers is that many of the codes they attempt to use don't work. We're able to address this pain point by highlighting when a coupon was last used by verified buyers," explains David Weinrot, CMO of Shopzilla.
The company expects to deliver in excess of $20M in Gross Merchandise Value from its coupon properties this year.
