Virtual Piggy, a technology platform designed for the management of the under-18 age group, announced that its solution will be integrated with Xsolla, an in-game monetization framework.
"We are excited to add the Virtual Piggy ecommerce technology into our online platform," said Albert Donahue, Vice President and Co-Founder of Xsolla. "Virtual Piggy will allow our customers who create and deliver online games for the under 18 age group to provide a safe, parent approved transaction mechanism and to operate in a COPPA compliant manner."
The arrangement will provide the ability for the online game network to transact with the youth market in a secure, COPPA compliant manner.
"Xsolla has a global merchant base of over 85 premier online entertainment sites and many of these merchants provide high quality online games for the U18 audience. Integrating Virtual Piggy into their platform will help Xsolla provide a parent-controlled, secure ecommerce solution for their youth market," said Dr. Jo Webber, Chairman of Virtual Piggy.
