Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has released its latest report detailing digital ad revenues for the first half of 2014 compared to the first half of 2013.
In their report, the IAB states revenue from digital ads have hit an all-time high in the first half of this year and landed at $23.1 billion, up from $20.1 billion in 2013. Of all categories measured, digital advertisers received the most revenue from mobile ads in the first half of the year.
"Consumers living online is online is no longer the exception-it is the rule," said Sherrill Mane, senior vice president of Research, Analytics and Measurement at IAB. "Digital screens have become vital tools at every juncture of the day. It is no surprise that brand dollars have followed this growing movement at a steady clip."
