Mobile app platform Shopgate seems to understand this quite well as it just announced the launch of its New Partner Program at NRF 2018 Retail's Big Show.
The new program is designed for systems integrators, technology partners and ecommerce platforms and already counts the likes of Echidna, Adeo Web, DEP Labs, Ignitiv and Atmosol as early adopters.
The partner program is likely to be quite appealing as Shopgate's infrastructure offers these system integrators the mobile app technology required to build mobile shopping experiences. Partners will receive access to the platform's myriad features, regular updates, hosting and maintenance. That will ultimately enable Shopgate partners to focus no what they do best - building customized mobile commerce experiences for their clients.

Shopgate had a very busy 2017 with the roll out of subscription billing, in-app chat tools and automated push notifications.
