Tucows Joins Afternic to Sell Premium Domains

ICANN-accredited registrar Tucows, which has over 11 million domain names under management at OpenSRS, announced that it has partnered with Afternic and join its Premium Promotion Network.

The agreement allows registrars to sell domains across Afternic's DLS (Domain Listing Service) reseller network - one of the largest such networks. Afternic counts more than fifty partners, many of which are popular registrars on the Web today.

"Adding Tucows to the DLS Premium Promotion level is very exciting for us. Now, with the majority of the world's top registrars enrolled in our Premium Promotion level, we are realizing our vision of a unified domain aftermarket," said Jason Miner, senior vice president of sales and General Manager of Afternic. "DLS has become the center of aftermarket domain transactions, connecting the most buyers and sellers of premium domains."
