Vimeo recently announced several enhancements for members of its Business-level offering, including the introduction of interactive video cards, a mobile-first tool designed to help marketers and video professionals drive viewer engagement.
Cards, which are available on Vimeo's embeddable video player, can be set to appear at any point during playback and provide supplementary information or links to a custom destination.
Vimeo also rolled out new end screens that now provide eight different ways to customize what appears after the video including clickable background images, thumbnails or call to action buttons.
Users of the system are also now able to set their email capture field to appear before, during or after their video, with the option to withhold their video behind the email capture field. What's more, those emails can then be imported into email marketing services including MailChimp, Campaign Monitor and Constant Contact.
