Video marketing and analytics platform Vidyard has introduced a way for Salesforce clients to enable their users to share and watch video content online within Salesforce Communities, and more importantly, measure just how engaged those audiences actually are.
Salesforce Communities are essentially branded spaces for employees, customers and partners (anyone inside or outside an organization) to communicate with customers, answer questions and provide support and training. Vidyard is essentially enabling Salesforce users to add video to a Salesforce Community by either embedding it manually or simply adding it to a Chatter feed within a Community. Organizations can decide who is able to publish videos and whether or not users can comment or share them.
"It's no secret that a video is the next best thing to being with someone in person," said Michael Litt, CEO and co-founder of Vidyard. "Vidyard has helped sales and marketing innovators use the power of video for years. Now we're expanding that power to anyone who uses Salesforce Communities to take advantage of using video with different groups. The possibilities are endless."
