Performance framework W3 Total Cache and video and media acceleration provider Swarmify have formed a partnership to offer video acceleration to millions of W3 Total Cache websites (many of which are powered by WordPress).
Users of W3 Total Cache will now be able to activate video acceleration within their control panel and automatically begin optimizing their video delivery with Swarmify technology (which focuses on video quality and reducing time spent buffering, improving the video experience for users in general).
With over a million active installations, W3 Total Cache has long enabled WordPress websites to enjoy the flexibility of platform without sacrificing the web page load speeds expected of modern hand-tuned websites and this appears to be another step in that direction.
"At Swarmify we have one goal, to solve challenging content delivery problems. In particular we are fanatical about eliminating video buffering forever. When we started discussions with W3 Edge it was clear they have the same passion and commitment to user experience as we do. This partnership is about bringing together two best-of-breed content delivery acceleration services, simple as that," said Swarmify CEO, Nathan Barnett.
