Website builder Jimdo, which has seen more than 10 million sites built on its platform, added a feature that will enable its users to create and publish blog posts directly from its iOS app.
"Based on user feedback and our analysis of iOS activity, blogging is the clear next step for our iOS app," said Matthias Henze, Jimdo co-founder. "Small business owners can publish content on their blog wherever they are so they can regularly stay in touch with their customer base. Our vision is a product that helps our users succeed on- and offline. Blogging is a key part of that vision."
It's not the easiest thing in the world to publish content from a smartphone, but it's definitely a valuable addition that distinguishes the app as one of the only platforms to offer website and blog management from a mobile device.
