YouTube is far and away the leader in the online video game, but they are hardly the only players. Some other video sites include Dailymotion, Metacafe, Vimeo, Blip.TV and MySpace Video - all supported by embedr. With this site you can create a playlist from separate videos (up to 100) on any of these sites, or just a compilation of videos from one of the sites.
The advantage here is that you only need to embed one video player, not have videos stacked on top of one another. There is also an option to include keywords to make sure you have the latest, greatest videos on a certain topic. When you include keywords, embedr automatically includes updated video into your playlist based on those keywords. You can also use the player to string together broken videos. For example, a 30-minute video that has been split into parts can play relatively seamlessly as one video.
Another nice feature is that the player can be embedded anywhere. So, if you build a playlist about your company and its products and features, or a series of how-to videos, a user can take the player and embed it elsewhere. It would seem logical that a user or blogger would be more likely to embed one player rather than a series of multiple videos - from mulitple websites - onto their website or social profile. Embedr is free.
