Google is releasing a new and free content recommendation tool for AdSense publishers.
The solution can be used by website owners/operators to promote their "contextually relevant and personalized" content to site visitors and encourage users to spend more time on pages, engaging more with publisher content (and viewing more ads as a result).
"This new feature can help you increase your site's page views and ad impressions, and could increase your ad revenue by making it easy for your visitors to find your content," wrote Tobias Maurer, Matched Content Product Manager at Google.
Google indicated that Matched content is available for sites with multiple pages and high volumes of traffic, and has provided additional information on requirements and some guidance on best practices for using Matched content units.
